How to make basundi recipe
Ingredients
- Milk 1/2 liter
- Pinch saffron threads
- 5 tsp sugar
- Chopped nuts
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder and nutmeg powder
Method of preparation
- Heat the pan and pour milk .
- Bring to boil in low heat and stir well .
- In between you can see some layer formation in milk .
- Stir continuously for about 20 min.
- Now at this stage add saffron threads, sugar, cardomom and nutmeg powder.
- It should be in a running consistency only.
- Transfer to a bowl and garnish with chopped nuts and allow it to cool.
Tasty basundi is ready now. This sweet is usually made for Diwali.
