Easy kerala style parotta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cup maida flour
  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup water 
  • Pinch sugar
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil for toast

Method of preparation

  • Take a mixing bowl add maida and wheat flour mix well and keep aside .
  • Take 1 cup warm water add pinch sugar and salt as needed.
  • Now pour this water little by little to the flour and start to knead the dough .
  • We need a semi tight dough.

  • Now transfer it in a work space add 1 tsp oil and start to knead the dough continue for 20 min.
  • Now keep it aside for one hour .

  • Now make small ball of it and using rolling pin roll it like I have shown in pictures.
  • Now pull and stretch from sides making sure they are stretched as much as possible.


  • Now fold it like a layer form as I have shown in the picture. And keep aside for half an hrs.




  • Begin to roll the pleated dough
  • Cook both side by applying oil in it . Cook until both side toast well and reach a golden color.

  • Then crush the paratha to form layers.



Tasty kerala style parotta is ready now enjoy with any curry of your choices.
