How to make parotta recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cup maida flour
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 1 cup water
- Pinch sugar
- Salt as needed
- Oil for toast
Method of preparation
- Take a mixing bowl add maida and wheat flour mix well and keep aside .
- Take 1 cup warm water add pinch sugar and salt as needed.
- Now pour this water little by little to the flour and start to knead the dough .
- We need a semi tight dough.
- Now transfer it in a work space add 1 tsp oil and start to knead the dough continue for 20 min.
- Now keep it aside for one hour .
- Now make small ball of it and using rolling pin roll it like I have shown in pictures.
- Now pull and stretch from sides making sure they are stretched as much as possible.
- Now fold it like a layer form as I have shown in the picture. And keep aside for half an hrs.
- Begin to roll the pleated dough
- Cook both side by applying oil in it . Cook until both side toast well and reach a golden color.
- Then crush the paratha to form layers.
