How to make Tandoori chicken
Ingredients
For marination
- 1 kg chicken pieces ( thigh pieces)
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp tandoori Masala / garam Masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp fennel powder
- 1/4 tsp red food color
- 1 cup curd
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1/ 2 tsp crushed dry kasuri methi leaves
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp ghee
- Salt as needed
For garnish
- 1 big onion sliced
- 1 lemon sliced
Method of preparation
- Take a mixing bowl add all the ingredients mention above for marination.
- Now pour the marinating in to chicken pieces and rub throughly.
- Keep it in the refrigerator for 8 hrs or overnight .
- Heat a tawa don't add oil in it .
- Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook in low flame for 15 min.
- Cook on both side .
- If you have oven then press heat it 360 degree and cook for 15 min .
- Now tandoori chicken is ready garnish with sliced onions and lime.
Tasty crispy tandoori chicken is ready now . Enjoy with some mint chutney.
