How to make Tandoori chicken




















Ingredients

For marination


  • 1 kg chicken pieces ( thigh pieces)
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp tandoori Masala / garam  Masala
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp fennel powder
  • 1/4 tsp red food color
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/ 2 tsp crushed dry kasuri methi leaves
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • Salt as needed

For garnish


  • 1 big onion sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced

Method of preparation


  • Take a mixing bowl add all the ingredients   mention above for marination.
  • Now pour the marinating in to chicken pieces and rub throughly.
  • Keep it in the refrigerator for 8 hrs or overnight .
  • Heat a tawa don't add oil in it .
  • Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook in low flame for 15 min.
  • Cook on both side .
  • If you have oven then press heat it 360 degree and cook for 15 min .
  • Now tandoori chicken is ready garnish with sliced onions and lime.
Tasty crispy tandoori chicken is ready now . Enjoy with some mint chutney.
