Today am gonna show you how to make a perfect restaurant style chicken salna for parota.  let's see the recipe.

How to make chicken salna





















Ingredients

  • 1/2 Chicken pieces ( with bone can be used)
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 cardamom
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam Masala 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil for cooking

Method of preparation

  • Heat a pan add 2 tsp oil add , cardamom,  cinnamon stick, star anise, bay leaf , fennel seeds , cloves, grated coconut fry for 5 min and make a fine paste of it .
  • Heat a pressure cooker and add oil , chopped onions , ginger garlic paste and chopped tomatoes ,saute for 5 min till onions cook well.
  • Now add chilli powder, garam masala,  coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt as needed.
  • Now add chicken pieces and mix well .
  • Add the coconut paste and 1 cup water .
  • Pressure cook for 1 whistle. 
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.

Tasty restaurant style chicken salna is ready now . Enjoy with parotta.
