Sura puttu / scrambled shark fish Recipe

Today am gonna show you a dish using shark fish . Come let's see how to make it .

How to make Sura Puttu / Scrambled Shark fish Recipe














Ingredients

  • Shark fish / Pal sura fish 1/2 kg
  • 3 big onions chopped finely
  • 2 green chilli chopped finely
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala 
  • Salt as needed
  • Pinch sea salt
  • Grated coconut

Method of preparation

  • So here I used clay pot to make this recipes. It will give a super flavor. If you don't have then you can use normal pan also.
  • Heat the clay pot add the cleaned shark fish / sura , 1 1/2 cup water , 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and  pinch sea salt. Let it cook for  min.
  • Now drain the water and transfer it in another plate and let it cool down .
  • Heat the clay pot add oil, mustard seeds, chopped onions and green chilli and saute it for 10 min.
  • Now the fish become cool enough so let's peel off its skin  and its bone like I have shown in the picture. It is very easily you can peel it out and it have only one bone at center so it is  a easy process. 
  • Now scramble the cooked fish with your hands and keep aside.
  • Now our onions cooked well add the scramble fish and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder,  chilli powder,  garam masala and salt as needed.
  • Now dry roast the grated coconut and add this to the fish masala. Mix well and cook in low flame for about 5 min.
  • This whole process is cooked in low flame only else the fish get burned.
  • Now add chopped curry leaves and 2 tsp coconut oil ( optional ) .
