Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cup basmati rice
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Handful of coriander and mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1 cardamom,2 cloves, 1 tej patta, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 star anise
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • oil or ghee 3 tsp
  • salt as needed
Method of preparation
  • Boil two egg , remove the shell and keep it aside
  • Heat a pressure cooker add cardamom,cloves, star anise, tej patta, cinnamon stick, fennel seeeds
  • Make paste of ginger, garlic,coriander leaves, mint leaves, curd, green chilli.
  • Add this paste and saute well for 2 min
  • Add chopped onions and tomatoes .
  • Cook for 2 min.
  • Add garam masala, turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt as needed.
  • Break 2 whole eggs and scramble well .
  • Now add 3 cup water.
  • Let the water gers boiled.
  • Add the soaked rice and boiled eggs.
  • pressure cook for 3 whistle.

Tasty pressure cooker egg biriyani is ready now. enjoy with raita.
