How to make Crumbed-Coconut Shrimps With Lime Aioli
Ingredients
- 10 large shrimps ( peeled and cleaned)
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- oil for deep fry
- salt and pepper as needed
For Lime Aioli
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp finely grated lime rinds
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 garlic clove crushed
Method of preparation
- Using your hands slightly flatten the shrimps and keep aside.
- Take three plates of one add beaten egg, plain flour.
- Mix both shredded coconuts and breadcrumbs on one plate and keep aside.
- Now heat oil for deep fry.
- Take one shrimp and dip in flour and then egg wash it and dip it again with breadcrumb mixture and deep fry it.Cook prawns for 2 minutes each side or until golden and cooked through.
- Continue with rest of the shrimps.
- Now let's make lime aioli for that, take a mixing bowl add all the ingredients listed below the lime aioli and mix together.
- Serve the shrimps with Lime aioli.
