How to make Appam batter




















Ingredients

  • Raw rice ( pacharisi)- 3cup
  • Urad dal - 1/2 cup
  • Leftover cooked rice - 1 cup

Method of preparation

  • Grind pacharisi and urud dal by adding water
  • Grind it till smooth texture 
  • Now add cooked rice in it and grind again adding water
  • Keep it outside for 4 hrs
  • Now the batter is fermented well add 1 tsp salt ,1/4 tsp soda powder, 1 tap sugar
  • Mix well and add little water . 

Appam batter is ready. Now you can make soft and fluffy appam.
