How to make Appam batter
Ingredients
- Raw rice ( pacharisi)- 3cup
- Urad dal - 1/2 cup
- Leftover cooked rice - 1 cup
Method of preparation
- Grind pacharisi and urud dal by adding water
- Grind it till smooth texture
- Now add cooked rice in it and grind again adding water
- Keep it outside for 4 hrs
- Now the batter is fermented well add 1 tsp salt ,1/4 tsp soda powder, 1 tap sugar
- Mix well and add little water .
Appam batter is ready. Now you can make soft and fluffy appam.
