Goat meat is the leanest meat. Well, believe it or not but fat contained in goat meat is lesser than fat contained in chicken. So, chicken breast is not the only source of fatless protein for your healthy lifestyle, goat meat could be the alternative.









Ingredients

  • Mutton 1/2 kg bone less
  • 2 big gonions chopped 
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tspJeera seeds 
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Red chilli 2 nos
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsl coriander powder 
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam Masala powder
  • Salt as needed
  • 1/2 tsp lime juice (optional)
  • 1 cup water
  • Oil ( preferably coconut oil)


For marination

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsl chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 5 tsp  curd
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method of preparing

  • Marinate the mutton using the marinating item above mentioned
  • Take a pan add oil , Jeera seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chilli
  • Let them splutter , add chopped onions and tomatoes cook for 5 min
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute well
  • Take a pressure cooker add the marinated mutton with 1 cup water and cook for 4 whistle
  • Now onions and tomatoes cooked well add garam Masala, chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder,pepper powder, salt and close cook for 1 min
  • Now add lime juice and stir well
  • Add the cooked mutton with the broth to the pan and mix well
  • Cover cook for 10 min
  • Now cook with out lid for 5 min
  • Switch off flame when it gets dry texture
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves


Tasty restaurant style mutton chukka ready . Best with roti , Naan , appam, dosa, idly.
