Today I am going to show you everyone favorite sweet gulab Jamun

How to make gulab jamun












Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk powder
  • 1/4 cup maida flour
  • 1 cup warm milk /water
  • 1 tsp curd 
  • Pinch baking soda
  • Ghee / oil for deep fry
  • 2 tsp oil
  • For sugar syrup
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 2 drops rose water
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder / 2 cardamom pods

Instruction

  • Mix water, sugar, cardamom boil the syrup until it turns slightly sticky
  • Add 2 drops of rose water and keep it aside
  • Seive the maida flour, milk powder, baking soda and mix well
  • Add 1tsp ghee, curd mix well 
  • Now add warm milk little by little and mix it well without any lumbs
  • Don't make it too sticky
  • Grease your hands and make small balls
  • Now deep fry it in ghee ( note it should be in light gold color)
  • Add these fried balls in sugar syrup and keep it aside for 2 hours
Yummy gulab jamun is ready now.
