Shrimp are a low-fat source of protein.Prawns are a good source of unsaturated fat, which makes up the majority of its fat content. While prawns are a healthy food choice in general, they are also naturally high in sodium.









Ingredients

  • 2 cup soaked basmati rice
  • Prawn 500 gm
  • 3 onion sliced
  • 2 tomatoes sliced
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Handful of coriander and mint leaves
  • 2 cardamom, 1 star anise, 1 tej patta, 2 cinnamon stick, 4 cloves
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Biriyani masala 1 tsp
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil or ghee 3 tsp

Method of preparation

  • Heat the pressure cooker add ghee, cardamom, star anise, Cinnamon stick , tej patta,  fennel seeds, cloves, ginger garlic paste.
  • Now add chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander and mint leaves saute for 5 to 10 min
  • Now add  prawns , curd, biriyani masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder,  Coriander powder, salt as needed.
  • Saute for 2 min in low flame .
  • Now add 3 cup water and when it gets boiled add the soaked ric and pressure cook for 2 - 3 whistle.

Tasty prawn biriyani is ready now . Enjoy it with raita.
