Crispy and Spicy Samosa Recipe

How to make samosa





















Ingredients

For samosa dough

  • 1 cup Maida 
  • 1/4 tsp ajwain
  • 1 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste

For stuffing

  • 1 cup cooked green peas
  • 3 boiled potatoes
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp green chilli paste 
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp fennel powder 
  • 1 tsp garam Masala 
  • 1/4 tsp chat masala 
  • 1/4 tsp dry mango powder 
  • 2 tsp ghee 
  • Oil for deep fry

Method of preparation

  • Take a mixing bowl add maida, oil, salt, ajwain, and water little by little and make a hard dough and keep aside.
  • Heat a pan add ghee, ginger paste, green chilli paste and saute for 2 min.
  • Now add the cooked peas and mix well.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, fennel powder, chat masala, dry mango powder, fennel powder and salt to taste mix well and saute for 5 min.
  • Add the cooked potatoes and mix well.
  • The stuffing is ready now.
  • Make a small ball of dough and roll it in an oval shape and divide them into two parts.
  • Now roll it in a cone shape and place the stuffing inside and cover it like I have shown in the picture.

  • Deep fry the samosa till it becomes golden colour.


Tasty and easy samosa is ready now have it with mint chutney / sweet dates chutney/ketchup.
