How to make samosa
Ingredients
For samosa dough
- 1 cup Maida
- 1/4 tsp ajwain
- 1 tsp oil
- Salt to taste
For stuffing
- 1 cup cooked green peas
- 3 boiled potatoes
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp green chilli paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp fennel powder
- 1 tsp garam Masala
- 1/4 tsp chat masala
- 1/4 tsp dry mango powder
- 2 tsp ghee
- Oil for deep fry
Method of preparation
- Take a mixing bowl add maida, oil, salt, ajwain, and water little by little and make a hard dough and keep aside.
- Heat a pan add ghee, ginger paste, green chilli paste and saute for 2 min.
- Now add the cooked peas and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, fennel powder, chat masala, dry mango powder, fennel powder and salt to taste mix well and saute for 5 min.
- Add the cooked potatoes and mix well.
- The stuffing is ready now.
- Make a small ball of dough and roll it in an oval shape and divide them into two parts.
- Now roll it in a cone shape and place the stuffing inside and cover it like I have shown in the picture.
- Deep fry the samosa till it becomes golden colour.
Tasty and easy samosa is ready now have it with mint chutney / sweet dates chutney/ketchup.
