Kerala Style Meen Curry Recipe

Today am gonna show you another yummy fish curry recipe  using para meen (sital fish). lets see how to make it .

How to make Kerala Style Nadan Meen Curry














Ingredients

  • Para meen 1/2 kg
  • Kudam puli(kukom) 3 pieces
  • 1 finely chopped onions
  • 1 finely chopped tomato
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Handful curry leaves
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp roasted fenugreek powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt as needed
  • Coconut oil 3 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp

Method of preparation

  • Heat a clay pot add 2 tsp coconut oil , curry leaves, finely chopped onions and tomato . saute for 5 -6 min
  • Now add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, fenugreek powder and salt. saute for 2 min.

  • Add the kukom pieces along with 1 cup water mix well and let it boil.

  • Once it get boiled add the fish pieces and cover cook for 5 min in low flame.
  • Now add 1 tsp of coconut oil on top the curry . 
  • switch off the stove .
Tasty Kerala Style Nadan Para Meen Curry is ready now enjoy with some hot steamed rice or kappa.
