Today am gonna show you another yummy fish curry recipe using para meen (sital fish). lets see how to make it .
How to make Kerala Style Nadan Meen Curry
Ingredients
- Para meen 1/2 kg
- Kudam puli(kukom) 3 pieces
- 1 finely chopped onions
- 1 finely chopped tomato
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Handful curry leaves
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp roasted fenugreek powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt as needed
- Coconut oil 3 tsp
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Method of preparation
- Heat a clay pot add 2 tsp coconut oil , curry leaves, finely chopped onions and tomato . saute for 5 -6 min
- Now add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, fenugreek powder and salt. saute for 2 min.
- Add the kukom pieces along with 1 cup water mix well and let it boil.
- Once it get boiled add the fish pieces and cover cook for 5 min in low flame.
- Now add 1 tsp of coconut oil on top the curry .
- switch off the stove .
Tasty Kerala Style Nadan Para Meen Curry is ready now enjoy with some hot steamed rice or kappa.
