Today am going to show you how to make medu vada / uzhundha vada lets see the make .
How to make Medu Vada Recipe
- Urud dal 1 cup ( soak for 1 hr)
- Rice flour 1 tbsp
- Rava / Sooji 1 tbsp
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 green chilli finely chopped
- 1 tsp finely chopped ginger root
- 1tsp crushed peppercorns
- Handful curry leaves
- Salt as needed
Method of preparation
- Make fine paste of urud dal and add 2 tsp water mix well . paste should be thick enough.
- Add chopped onions,green chilli,curry leaves, peppercorns, rice flour , rava , salt in the urud batter and mix well.
- Heat pan and add oil in it .
- Grease water in your hand take vada mix and make a small round shape and with one finger put a hole in center and put it in the oil.
- Deep fry it until its color becomes golden.
- Serve with coconut chutney.
Tasty Medu Vada is ready now enjoy with some coconut chutney and Sambar .
