How to make Mutton bone kulambu kozhukattai
Ingredients
For kuzhambu:
- Mutton bone 1/2 kg
 - Grated coconut 2 cup
 - Dry red chilli 10 nos
 - 1 tsp coriander seeds
 - 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
 - 1 cinnamon stick
 - Shallots 5 nos
 - 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
 - Handful curry leaves
 - Oil for cooking
 
For kozhukattai batter
- 1 cup rice
 - 1/2 cup urad dal
 
Method of preparation
- Soak urad dal and rice seperately for 2 hrs.
 - Now grind them seperately and add 3 tsp water each while grinding both urad dal and rice .
 - Don't add more water batter should be thick enough.
 - Now mix both the batter and keep aside.
 
- Make a fine paste of grated coconut, cinnamon stick, fennal seeds, coriander seeds, dry red chilli, shallots and keep aside.
 - Heat a pressure cooker add crushed shallots, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, 2 cup water, and cleaned mutton bone . cook for 4 whistles.
 - Heat a pan add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, coconut paste and mutton soup with bone .
 - Add salt as required .
 
- Now take the batter and use your hands to make small ball and gently drop in the boiling curry
 - Continue until all done.
 - Now leave it for 5 mins.
 
- Using a spatula gently mix the dumplings and check whether its done or not.
 - Serve it hot.
