How to make Baby Corn Manchurian


Ingredients

  • 200gm Baby corns sliced
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp vinegar
  • Salt and pepper as needed
  • Oil for deep fry

For Manchurian Sauce

  • 1 big onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 capsicum finely chopped
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger and garlic
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper as needed
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • some chopped spring onions and white sesame seeds for garnishing

Method of preparation

  • Take a mixing bowl add sliced baby corns, salt, pepper, cornflour, all-purpose flour, soy sauce, vinegar and 2 tbsp water and mix well.
  • Now deep fry the coated baby corns until golden brown and keep aside.


  • Now let's make the Manchurian sauce, for that heat a pan add oil, chopped ginger and garlic saute it for 1 min.
  • Now add chopped onions and saute it until translucent.
  • Add capsicums and saute them until it cooks evenly. 


  • Now add soy sauce, red chilli sauce, tomato sauce and mix together. add salt and pepper as per the taste.
  • Add cornstarch and mix well. cook it in low flame for about 5 - 10 min.
  • Once the gravy thickens add the fried baby corns and give a nice mix.


  • Garnish with some chopped spring onions and white sesame seeds.

Tasty Baby Corn Manchurian is ready now. Serve hot with some fried rice.
