How to make Hariyali Chicken Tikka Kabab 

Ingredients

  • Boneless Chicken cut into small pieces
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp garlic and ginger paste 
  • 4 green chilli finely chopped
  • 2 large handful of  spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • A handful of coriander 
  • A handful of  mint leaves
  • 20 roasted cashews
  • 100g butter
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • 3 tbsp  plain yoghurt
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method Of Preparation

  • In a large pan heat the oil over medium heat.
  • When hot, add chopped onions and green chillies fry until the onion is translucent.
  • Now add the garam masala, cumin and turmeric and saute it well.

  • Add the spinach and ginger garlic paste and saute it all into the onions.

  • Remove this from the heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  • In a blender, grind the spinach and onion mixture with the lemon juice, cashews, butter, mint, fresh coriander, salt, pepper and yoghurt. You may need to add a little water to do this.
  • Now marinate the chicken pieces in spinach paste and allow to marinate for 2 hrs.

  • Skewer the chicken pieces and keep it aside.
  • Now heat a grill pan add the chicken pieces and cook all side equally.
  • Brush some oil on top of the chicken pieces in between.

Tasty Hriyali Chicken Tikka Kababs are ready now.
