How to make Nadan Chicken Fry
Ingredients
- 500gms boneless chicken
- Oil for deep fry
- 15 small onions/shallots
- A handful of curry leaves
- 2 tbsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp garam masala/curry powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Salt as needed
Method of preparation
- Take a blender to add shallots and grind it well. Keep it aside
- Now in the same blender add curry leaves, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, peppercorns, coriander seeds, ginger, and garlic.
- Make a fine paste and add this mixture to the onion paste and mix well.
- Add salt and chicken pieces mix all together and keep aside for 3 -4 hrs.
- Now heat oil and add the marinated chicken pieces and fry them until golden brown color.
- Fry some curry leaves in that oil and garnish the fried chicken with fried curry leaves.
Serve it hot with some onions and lemon wedges.
