How To Make Chicken Pakoda

Ingredients

  • 500 gms boneless chicken pieces 
  • salt - to taste
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp pepper powder
  • 3 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 egg
  • oil for deep frying

For Garnishing

  • 1/2 onion sliced
  • 2 piece lemon wedge

Method of preparation

  • Firstly, take a bowl, add boneless chicken pieces.
  • Add salt to it as per taste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, garam masala, black pepper powder.
  • Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Add chickpea flour and corn flour and mix it well.
  • Add egg to it.
  • Mix the whole mixture well, set aside and marinate it for 5-10 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan for deep fry the marinated chicken.
  • Add the chicken pieces into the oil and deep fry them until they turn golden red on a medium flame.
  • Remove the fried chicken pieces from oil once it has done. Drain excess oil by keeping it in a tissue.
  • Serve the chicken pieces with the sliced onions and lemon wedges.
