Chicken Shawarma with Tahini sauce Recipe

How to Chicken Shawarma.

Ingredients


For shawarma

  • Pita bread
  • 1/2 grated carrot
  • 1/2 cup chopped lettuce 

For pickle

  • 1 carrot julienned 
  • 1 red radish julienned 
  • 2 green chilli slit
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 2 cup water
  • Salt as needed

For Tahini sauce

  • 3 tbsp Tahini
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp grated garlic
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • Salt and pepper as needed

For chicken marination

  • 200 gm boneless chicken
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp Curd
  • 1/4 tsp vinegar 
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt as needed

Method of preparation

  • First, let's make a pickle for that Heat 2 cup water when it starts to bowl add vinegar and salt and switch off the flame.
  • Add julienned carrot, radish, green chilli and keep aside. The pickle is ready.
  • Marinate the chicken using the ingredients listed below marination and keep aside for 1 hrs
  • Now let's make the garlic sauce for that take blender add tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, dijon mustard, salt, pepper, grated garlic and blend it. sauce for shawarma is ready.

  • Take a bowl add grated carrot, lettuce and  1 tbsp garlic sauce and mix well.

  • Now heat a pan add 2 tbsp oil, marinated chicken and fry until golden brown colour.

  • Now take the pita bread and break bread in half and open the pocket inside for stuffing.

  • Add the carrot and lettuce, add the fried chicken, drizzle garlic sauce on top and cover it.

  • Serve the shawarma with the pickle.


Tasty chicken shawarma is ready now.
