Falafel Balls Recipe

Hello foodies, 

Today I am here to share you some evening snack and healthy recipe. Falafel Balls is made with dry Chickpeas and it is served with Tahini sauce. This is a great snack for kids and for adults. Let's see how to make it.

How to make Falafel Balls Recipe 

Ingredients 

  • cup dried chickpeassoaked overnight
  • 1/2 cup onionroughly chopped
  • 1 cup parsleyroughly chopped 
  • 1 cup cilantroroughly chopped 
  • 2 green chile
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp cumin powder 
  • Salt as needed
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder 
  • 1 tsp paprika powder 
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  •  oil for frying

Method of preparation

  •  Soak the dried chickpeas in water overnight 
  • Take a food processor and add the onion, parsley, cilantro, garlic, and green chili to the food processor and pulse several times.
  • Drain and rinse the chickpeas and add them to your food processor and add salt, cumin powder, paprika powder,  black pepper powder, baking soda, and again grind them together until everything blends well. 




  • Transfer the falafel mixture to a bowl and add the bread crumbs. Stir together, then cover and keep it aside.
  • Now heat oil in a pan for deep fry.
  • Make small balls of falafel mixture and keep it ready for deep fry.
  • Once the oil gets heated add the prepared falafel Balls and fry them until brown color as shown in the picture. 



  • Now serve it hot with Tahini sauce or even you can make a falafel wrap also.
