How to make paneer Lababdar
Ingredients
- 200 gm paneer or cottage cheese
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 chopped onion
- 10 cashew nuts
- 2 green cardamom
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 bay leaf
- 4 cloves
- 1 tsp Kasuri methi
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp grated cheese
- 1 tsp julienned ginger
- 2 tbsp fresh cream
- Salt as needed
- 1 tbsp butter
Method of preparation
- Heat water in a pan adds chopped tomatoes and cashews boil it for 10 min.
- Now make the fine paste of it and keep aside.
- Heat butter in another pan add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, cardamom, onions saute until translucent.
- Now add tomato paste. Mix well and cook in low flame for 5 min. Now you can see the oil separate from the gravy.
- Now add red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala, salt, turmeric powder mix well and cook for 5 min.
- Now add grated cheese and paneer cubes and mix well. Cook for 10 min.
- Add fresh cream and mix well.
- Garnish with Kasuri methi and julienned ginger.
