How to make Achari Paneer Masala Recipe
For Achar powder
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp kolanji seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
For Masala
- 250 gm Paneer
- 1 cup fresh curd
- 2 tbsp cashew powder
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 /2 tsp green chilli paste
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- 2 dry red chillies
- Pinch asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp dry mango powder
- 1 tsp crushed Kasuri methi
- 1 tbsp gram flour
- 2 tbsp fresh cream
- Salt as needed
- 3 tbsp oil
Method of preparation
- First let's make achar powder, for that dry roast all ingredients listed below Achar Powder and make a fine powder of it.
- Now take mixing bowl to add curd and whisk it until smooth.
- Now heat a pan add oil, red chilli, asafoetida as sat it for a min.
- Now add ginger, garlic, green chilli paste and saute it until raw smell goes.
- Now add tomatoes and cook until soft and mushy.
- Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, dry mango powder. Give a nice mix.
- Now add cashew powder and mix well.
- Add Achar Powder at this stage and mix it well.
- Now add gram flour and curd. Mix it very well and keep the flame on low.
- Stir the mixture quickly and add salt as needed.
- Cook in low flame for about 5 min.
- Now add Paneer cubes and cook the Paneer for about 2 min.
- Now add fresh cream and kasuri methi leaves and give a nice mix.
- Switch off the flame and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
