How to make Crab Soup Recipe
Ingredients
- 250 grams of crab
- 1 teaspoon peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 2 dried Red Chillies
- 5 shallots
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- 1teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 lemon sized tamarind
- 1/2 tablespoon asafoetida
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Few curry leaves
- Few chopped coriander leaves
- Salt as required
- Water as required
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
To grind
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 2 tsp peppercorns
- 5 garlic pods
- Few curry leaves
Method of preparation
- Take a blender to add curry leaves, garlic pods, peppercorns, cumin seeds and make a fine powder.
- Now heat a pressure cooker and add oil, fennel seeds, peppercorns, red chillies and curry leaves. Saute it for a min.
- Now add chopped shallots and cook until translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until mushy.
- Now add freshly grounded Masala, turmeric powder, coriander powder and saute it until raw smell goes.
- Now add crab, tamarind juice, water as required, salt as needed and close the lid. Let it cook for 1 whistle.
- Once the pressure released now add asafoetida and chopped coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
