How to make Kung Pao Chicken
Ingredients
For chicken marination
- 250 grams boneless chicken pieces
- 1 tbsp red chilli sauce
- 1/2 tbsp soya sauce
- One teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon pepper powder
- salt as needed
For sauce
- One teaspoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
- one tablespoon red chilli sauce
- one tablespoon honey
- two tablespoon tomato paste
- one tablespoon corn flour
- one Cup chicken stock
For final mix
- One onion sliced
- Half red bell pepper sliced
- Half capsicum sliced
- 1 tbsp roasted peanut and cashew nuts
- 3 tablespoon of sesame oil
Method of preparation
- Let's start by marinating chicken for that take a bowl add chicken pieces salt red chilli sauce soya sauce sugar red chilli flakes garlic paste and Pepper powder mix well and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- Now let's make the sauce for Kung Pao chicken for that take another bowl to add vinegar red chilli sauce honey tomato paste corn flour mix well now add chicken stock and mix well again.
- Heat pan adds season oil sliced onions and saute it until onions get translucent.
- Now add the marinated chicken and mix well.
- Add sliced red bell pepper and Capsicum saute it for 10 minutes.
- Now let's add the prepared sauce and mix it well and let it cook for 10 - 15 min.
- Once the gravy thickens add roasted peanuts and cashews and mix well.
