Peri-Peri Chicken Recipe

Hello foodies,
Today I am going to show another chicken recipe which is Peri-Peri Chicken with Peri-Peri sauce and some fries. Let's see how to make it.

How to make Peri Peri Chicken Recipe 

Ingredients 

  • 1 chicken

 FOR CHICKEN MARINADE


  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp white vinegar
  • 4 chillis
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt as needed 
  • 2 tsp pepper powder 
  • 1 lemon, juiced

FOR PERI PERI SAUCE

  • 2 oz mayonnaise 
  • 4 chillis
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • salt as needed 
  • 2 tsp pepper powder 
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Method of preparation 

  • First, clean the chicken and turn it over and flatten it down to spread the chicken out as much as possible. By cutting the backbone of chicken you will get that shape.
  •  Now blend together all of the ingredients listed below marinade in a food processor and spread half of it over the chicken.
  • Cover and marinate in the fridge for overnight or 4 to 5 hours.
  •  Now lets roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 50 minutes at 200°C (400°F), in between flip the chicken and cook both sides as well.

  •   Now let's make the Peri-peri sauce for that heat a pan and add the other half of the marinade for 2-3 minutes.
  • Now add this mixture into mayonnaise mix well and the Peri Peri sauce is ready.
  • Tasty and spicy Peri-Peri chicken is ready now serve it hot with Peri-peri sauce and French fries or chips.
