Ingredients
- Chicken bone less 1/2 kg
- Coconut oil
- Curry leaves
- Ginger paste
- Garlic paste
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 1 large tomato finely chopped
- Red chilli 4 nos
- Feenal seeds 1 tsp
- Cinnamon 1
- Chilli powder 2 tsp
- Crushed peppercorns 4 tsp
- Jeera powder 1/2 tsp
- Dry coconut pieces finely chopped 2 tsp
Method of preparation
- Take a pan add 4 tsp coconut oil and add hand full of curry leaves , 4 red chilli, 1 tsp fennel seeds , 1 cinnamon stick
- Now add ginger paste and garlic paste cook until the raw smell goes
- Add chopped onions and tomatoes add salt as required let it cook for 10 mins
- Add the chicken pieces and redchilli powder mix it well
- Add 1cup water and cover cook it for about 20 min
- Now add 4 tsp crushed peppers and 1/2 tsp jeera powder and cook it with out the lid till the water get evaporated
- Now add the chopped dry coconut pieces and 3 tsp coconut oil . garnish it with some chopped coriander leaves
Tasty pepper chicken chetinadu style is ready now . You can have this recipe with steamed rice , dosa,chapti, parotta, Naan
