How to make coconut rice

Coconut is full of diverse health benefits from protecting against heart diseases to preventing tooth decay.Protect against heart disease by increasing good cholesterol and lowering the ratio of bad and good cholesterol
Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut thick milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup soaked basmati rice
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 tsp oil
- 2 tsp ghee
- 5 chaswenut
- 3 big onions sliced
- 2 green chilli slit
- 1 tej patta
- 1 cardamom
- 1 tsp jeera
- 1 bay leaf
Method of preparation
- Add ghee and oil in a pan
- Add jeera,tej Patta, cardamom,bay leaf,ginger garlic paste.
- Add sliced onions and green chilli,cashew
- Cook till onion get caramel texture
- Add water and coconut milk , salt as required
- Add basmati rice when the water gets boiled
- Cover cook for 25 min.
Yummy and tasty coconut rice is ready you can have it with some crispy potato chips.
