 Health benefits of eggs

One of the major nutritional advantages of eggs is their protein content. Each large whole egg contains 6.3 grams of protein -- 3.6 grams from the white and 2.7 grams from the yolk. Eggs are a rich source of a few key nutrients. Eating eggs boosts your intake of choline, a vitamin important for brain function. 


Ingredients

  • Egg 3 nos 
  • 2 green chilli
  • 2 large onions
  • Curry leaves 
  • 1 tomato 
  • Ginger finely chopped
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Pepper powder
  • Garam masala powder 
  • Salt
  • Mustard seeds
  • Oil for cooking ( preferably coconut oil)

Method of preparation
  1. Take a pan add 4 tsp coconut oil in it and add mustard seed in it
  2. When it splutter add chopped curry leaves and finely chopped ginger
  3. Now add finely chopped onions and tomato and add a little salt to it so that the onions will cook easily
  4. Now add chopped green chilli and add 3 eggs in it
  5. Scramble it well
  6. Now add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp pepper powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, salt as needed and scramble it well again
  7. Tasty egg podimas is ready you can have this recipe with rice and tomato rasam or with some chapati
