Goat meat is the leanest meat. Well, believe it or not but fat contained in goat meat is lesser than fat contained in chicken. So, chicken breast is not the only source of fatless protein for your healthy lifestyle, goat meat could be the alternative.
Ingredients
- Mutton 1kg
- Basmati rice 2 cup
- Ghee 3 tsp
- Vegetable oil 2 tsp
- 2 large onions finely chopped
- 1 tomato finely chopped
- Coriander leaves
- Pudina leaves
- 2 green chilli
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 2Cardamom, 1star nice, 1 Tej patta, 1/2 tsp Shahi jeera,
- 3 cup water
- 1/2 cup curd
- 1/2 tsp lime juice
- 3 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp Briyani masala
- Salt as required
Instructions
- Heat your pressure cooker add ghee and oil in it
- Now add all the spices above mentioned and add ginger garlic paste
- Now add onions, green chilli, tomato and cook it for 10 mins
- Add mint leaves and coriander leaves
- Now add the mutton pecies and mix well
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, biriyani masala, salt as required blend every thing well
- Now add 3 cups of water, curd and lime juice. Wait till the water gets boiled
- Now add the soaked basmati rice and keep it in pressure for 2 - 3 whistle
Yummy mutton biriyani is ready . You can have it with Raita.
