Ingredients
- Oats 1 cup
- Milk 2cup
- 1/2 cup mawa (evaporated milk solids)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 pinch saffron threads (optional)
- Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
- Chopped walnuts,cashews, pistachios
- Ghee 3 tsp
Method of preparation
- Take a pan add ghee and oats saute for 2 min
- Now add grated mawa keep stir and cook in low flame
- At this stage add milk and stir well
- Add the sugar again sir well and keep cooking for 2 min
- Now add cardamom powder and cook again for 2 -3 min
- Cook until till the oats halwa thickened
- Garnish with chopped nuts
Tasty and healthy oats Halwa is ready.
