Cottage cheese contains all the essential amino acids needed for it to qualify as a complete protein. One cup of creamed cottage cheese has 23 grams of protein, which is 41 percent of the recommended daily intake for men and 50 percent for women.














Ingredients

  • Paneer cubes 200 gm
  • Capsicum cubed 1/2 cup
  • Onions cubed 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes cubed 1/2 cup

For marination

  • Hung curd 1/2 cup
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala 
  • 1/2 tsp amchur powder ( dry mango powder)
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala 
  • 1 tsp crushed Kasuri methi 
  • Salt as required

For gravy

  • Onion paste 1/2 cup
  • Tomato paste 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Cashew paste 3 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp amchur powder ( dry mango powder)
  • 1/4tsp chat masala 
  • 1 tsp crushed Kasuri methi 
  • Salt as required
  • Oil

Method of preparation

  • Add the marinating ingredients in a bowl and add the cubed veggies keep it aside for 2 hrs
  • if you are making  your Tikka in oven then pre heat it 180 degree and oil the skillets and add the marinated veggies and bake it in the oven for 10 mins
  • If your making stove top . Then grease some oil on pan and fry the veggies in medium heat for 3 - 4 min
  • Now take a pan add oil, jeera seeds, cardamon, tej patta, ginger garlic paste , onion and tomato paste , cook until oil separate
  • Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder, chat masala, garam masala, salt
  • Now add curd and cook well for 2 min
  • Now add cashew paste and crushed kasuri methi leaves.
  • Add the cooked Tikka in gravy .
