How to make tomato chutney

Ingredients
- 2 large tomatoes finely chopped
- 1 large onions finely chopped
- 5 red chilli
- I small piece ginger
- 1/4 cup of grated coconut ( optional )
- Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- Oil
Method of preparation
- Take a pan add 1 tsp oil and add chopped onions and tomatoes fry it till the raw smell goes.
- Now add red chilli and grated coconut, ginger pieces and cook for few more mins
- Now turn off the heat and let them cook meanwhile.
- Take another pan and add 2 tsp coconut oil (optional ) you can use any oil and 1/4 tsp mustard seeds and curry leaves let them splitter now turn off it.
- In a blender add the fried onion-tomato mixture and grind it using 1/2 cup of water grind it to a smooth paste like texture.
- Add required salt.
- Now mix both the mixtures.
Yummy tomato chutney is ready you can have this chutney with idlis, dosa, Pongal, vada,bajjis
