Today I am gonna show you how to make Easy  Chana Masala.

How to make Chenna Masala



















Ingredients

  • Cooked chickpeas 2 cup
  • 2 big onion finely chopped 
  • 1 tomato finely chopped 
  • 2 green chilli slit 
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Handful of coriander and mint leaves
  • 1/2 tsp garam Masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • Crushed Kasuri methi leaves
  • 5 tbsp cashew paste / fresh cream
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Oil 
  • Salt as needed

Method of preparation

  • Heat a pan add 1 tsp oil, chopped onions , tomato, green chilli , coriander and mint leaves.
  • Saute for 10 min.
  • Now add garam masala, chilli powder, coriander powder , cumin  powder, turmeric powder. Saute for 2 min. 
  • Switch off the flame and allow it to cool .
  • Now make a fine paste of it and keep aside.
  • Heat a pan add 2 tsp oil , fennel seeds and grinded  paste.
  • Add salt and cooked chickpeas. 
  • Add 1/2 cup water and cook for 5 min.
  • Add the cashew paste and cook for 10 min.
  • It should be in dry consistency. 
  • Now garnish with crushed kasuri methi leaves.

Tasty chana masala is ready now .
