Easy Homemade Gnocchi

Hello foodies, 

Today I am going to show you how to make Gnocchi. This recipe is made with potatoes and all-purpose flour. It's a very simple recipe and am sure that you all loke it. Let's see how to make it.

How to Make Homemade Gnocchi Recipe 




Ingredients

For Gnocchi dough

  • 2 potatoes mashed 
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour 
  • 1 egg
  • Pinch pepper powder 
  • Pinch mixed herbs
  • Salt as needed

For cooking Gnocchi 

  • 1 tbsp olive oil 
  • Pinch salt 

For saute

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1 tsp crushed Peppercorns 
  • 1 cup green peas cooked
  • Shredded cheese 🧀 1 cup
  • Salt

Method of preparation 

  • Let's start by making the Gnocchi dough, for that take a bowl to add mashed potatoes, flour, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix all together and start to knead the dough.
  • The dough should be very soft not too hard so knead it soft. 

  • Now the dough is ready let's roll it and cut into small pieces as I have shown in the picture.
  • Now heat a saucepan add salt and oil. Once the water starts to boil add the prepared gnocchi and stir.
  • While we add the gnocchi it will be in the bottom of the pan if it starts to float then our gnocchi are ready.
  • Now drain it and keep it aside.
  • Heat another pan add butter, garlic, gnocchi and fry it for 10 to 15 minutes. 
  • Now add cooked peas, salt, mixed herbs, pepper, and mix well. 
  • Keep stir for 5 more minutes. 
  • Very easy and tasty Gnocchi is ready. Garnish with shredded cheese and serve it hot.
