Ingredients
- Thovaram paruppu 1 cup ( toor dal)
- Asafeotida 1 tsp
- Tamarind paste 1 tsp
- Sambar powder
- Turmeric powder
- 6 shallots
- 1 tomato
- 1 cup veggies
- 2 red chilli
- Mustard seeds
- Curry leaves
- Coriander leaves
- Salt
Method of preparation
- Take pressure cooker and add toor dal, turmeric powder, asafeotide cook for 3 whistle
- Take a pan add oil, mustard seeds, jeera seeds, red chilli, curry leaves, chopped onions, tomato cook for 2 min tadka ready
- When the pressure release add chopped veggies , tadka, sambar powder , tamarind paste, salt as required and cook for 1 whistle
- Garnish with coriander leaves
