How to make Pori Urundai Recipe












Ingredients

  • Pori/Puffed rice 3cups
  • Jaggery 1/2 cup
  • Water 1/4 cup
  • cardamom powder a pinch
  • Ghee 1 tsp 

Method of preparation

  • Take a pan add jaggery and water in it and heat it up to dessolve it.
  • Now filter the jaggery syrup and again heat it up till it become thick consistancy.
  • Now you can check  it easily by this method take glass of water pour a drop of syrup if it doesn't dissolve then syrup is in correct consistancy.
  • Now add cardamom powder in it and mix well.keep it aside.
  • Take a mixing bowl add the syrup and puffed rice in it mix well.
  • Syrup should be little hot .
  • Grease your hand with ghee and roll it in a ball shape 
  • Store it in a airtight container
Tasty Pori Urundai is ready now.
