How to make Mushroom Manchurian

Ingredients

  • Mushroom 500gm
  • 1 tsp maida flour 
  • 1/2 tsp cornflour 
  • Pinch salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • Oil for deep fry

For munchurian gravy

  • 2 onions finely chopped
  • 1/2 capsicum finely chopped
  • 2 garlic pods finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp ginger and green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp soy sauce 
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tsp cornflour starch
  • Pinch sugar
  • Salt as needed 
  • Oil for cooking

Method of preparation

  • Take a mixing bowl add maida, cornflour, pinch pepper and salt, 1/2 tsp soy sauce and 1/2 cup water mix together and make thick paste of .
  • Now take mushrooms and dip in the paste and deep fry it. Keep it aside.
  • Heat another pan add 2 tsp vegetable oil, ginger and green chilli paste.
  • Now add chopped garlic, onions, capsicum saute well for 5 min.
  • Now add soy sauce, red chilli sauce and tomato sauce and give a mix to it.
  • Now add salt and pepper and 1 tsp corn starch.
  • Now you'll get semi gravy look . At this stage add pinch of sugar and fried mushrooms and give nice mix and simmer it for 5 min.
  • Now transfer it to a plate and garnish with spring onions .

Tasty mushroom manchurian is ready now serve with fried rice, Naan.
