Restaurant Style Chicken Manchurian Recipe

How to make Chicken Manchurian

Ingredients

For chicken Manchurian

  • 200 gm minced chicken
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 Cup Maida flour
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Salt as needed
  • Oil for deep fry

For sauce

  • 3 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1/2 Cup Tomato puree
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • Salt as needed
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 3 Garlic pods, finely chopped
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Large Capsicum, finely chopped

Method of preparation

  • Mix together the chicken, egg, flour, garlic and ginger paste, 2 tbsp water. It should be  thick batter. Keep it aside.


  • Now heat oil for deep fry and heap 1 tbsp batter in oil and fry it until golden colour.


  • Now let's make the sauce, heat a pan add oil, chopped garlic, onion, capsicum and saute it for 5 - 10 min.
  • Add tomato puree, soy sauce, vinegar, salt and pepper mix well and add cornstarch let it cook for 5 min.

  • Now add fried chicken and mix it well. Cook for another 2 min.

  • Serve it hot with fried rice.
