How to make Chicken Manchurian
Ingredients
For chicken Manchurian
- 200 gm minced chicken
- 1 Egg
- 3/4 Cup Maida flour
- 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp Ginger paste
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Salt as needed
- Oil for deep fry
For sauce
- 3 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp Vinegar
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- 1/2 Cup Tomato puree
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Salt as needed
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- 3 Garlic pods, finely chopped
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 1 Large Capsicum, finely chopped
Method of preparation
- Mix together the chicken, egg, flour, garlic and ginger paste, 2 tbsp water. It should be thick batter. Keep it aside.
- Now heat oil for deep fry and heap 1 tbsp batter in oil and fry it until golden colour.
- Now let's make the sauce, heat a pan add oil, chopped garlic, onion, capsicum and saute it for 5 - 10 min.
- Add tomato puree, soy sauce, vinegar, salt and pepper mix well and add cornstarch let it cook for 5 min.
- Now add fried chicken and mix it well. Cook for another 2 min.
- Serve it hot with fried rice.
