Ghee and butter are the best dietary sources of this fatty acid. Ghee is a primarily saturated fat and is highly heat-stable for sauteing and baking.













Ingredients

  • 2 cup basmati rice
  • 3 cup water
  • Salt as required 
  • 2 tej patta 
  • 2 clove
  • 1/2 tsp shahi jeera
  • 4 large onions chopped 
  • 1/2 cup ghee

Method of preparation

  • Heat the pressure cooker add ghee, tej patta, jeers, clove, onions, salt as required cook until onion gets light brown color
  • Now add basmati rice and water
  •  Pressure cook for 3 whistle. Open it after 10 min
Tasty kerala style nai chor / ghee rice is ready .
